How anxiety therapy works here
Most outpatient anxiety therapy is cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), exposure work, or acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT). All three are evidence-based, and most people see meaningful change inside eight to sixteen sessions. Our Clinical Director is also EMDR-trained, which is useful for panic and phobia work with an identifiable trigger.
What it costs
The insurance mix in Huntington skews heavily toward commercial PPOs through finance, law, biotech, and the school districts. We are in network with the major plans and verify your specific benefits in writing before the first session. With most in-network plans (Aetna, Cigna, UnitedHealthcare, Oxford, Northwell Direct), the typical out of pocket cost is between $0 and $40 per session, depending on your specific plan.
